Shift Information

Shifts are varied, averaging three days of call per month. Please note that there is no guarantee of hours or time requested off during the first 13 weeks of the contract.

Job Description

The X-Ray Technologist will be responsible for operating radiographic equipment, ensuring patient safety, and delivering high-quality imaging services. The role requires independent function without supervision and adherence to radiation safety protocols.

Qualifications

• A minimum of two (2) years of experience as a registered Radiologic Technologist.
• A current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer is required by the start of the assignment.
• A current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification is mandatory.
• A current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in the operation of all radiographic equipment, including DR fixed equipment, DR fluoro equipment, C-arms, and portable DR equipment.
• Must be assigned a dosimetry badge for radiation monitoring.
• Experience with Philips DR, Philips C-arms, OEC C-arms, and EPIC EMR is preferred.

Additional Information

Travelers are expected to arrive on the island the Friday prior to the Monday start date for HR/EH clearance appointments.
