Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position requires night shift availability and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in an emergency department setting.

Responsibilities

• Collect relevant data related to the patient’s health or situation.
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses and care issues.
• Develop and implement care plans that prescribe interventions to achieve desired outcomes.
• Coordinate care delivery and promote a safe healing environment.
• Evaluate patient progress towards achieving outcomes and adjust plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure effective patient care.
• Provide education and learning opportunities for patients and team members.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and coordinate duties of healthcare team members.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent emergency department experience; 3 years preferred.
• EPIC experience is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice is required.
• Current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is required.
