Unit: 7 North-Spine
Location: Englewood, CO
Floor: 8 Tower
General Information:
- Number of Beds: 18-20
- Number of Staff: 35
- Staffing Breakdown:
- Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 2-3 RNs, 1 LPN, 1-3 PCTs
- Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 3 RNs, 1 LPN, 1-2 PCTs
- Patient Ratios: 6:1 with LPN assistance
- Type of Equipment: Hoyer lifts, air taps, wound vacs, PCA pumps
- Electronic Medical Record System: Meditech
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of acute care hospital Med/Surg experience
- BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Burn Care
- Experience in Wound Care and Ostomy Care
- ACLS certification
Responsibilities
Typical procedures performed on this unit include:
- Wound and dressing care for post-operative burn and flap patients
