Position Description

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team in Augusta, GA. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment and requires a commitment to patient care and collaboration with medical staff.

General Information

• Unit: Cath Lab
• Number of Beds: 350
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Patient Ratios: As per unit guidelines

Responsibilities

The Cath Lab Technologist will participate in various procedures, including:

• Cardiac Catheterization (Cath)
• Electrophysiology (EP)
• Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP)
• Impella Procedures
• Temporary Pacing Assignment
• Administering Moderate Sedation

Qualifications

• Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a Cath Lab setting
• Certifications Required: BLS and ACLS
• Requested Skill Set: RN or RCIS certification

Work Environment

The Cath Lab operates with a collaborative staffing model, supported by RN and RCIS team members. Robust engagement with patient care and performing advanced procedures is essential. Candidates should be available for scheduling requirements that include working regular shifts as well as on-call hours.

• RN: Royal Blue
• RCIS: Grey
• Procedural: Navy Blue (provided)
