Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Medical and Surgical care. The ideal candidate will have neuro experience and be a strong med/surg nurse, capable of managing complex patients. This role requires proficiency in conducting neurological assessments and the ability to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical/surgical setting.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions and perform neurological assessments as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per established protocols.
• Coordinate with healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately in electronic medical records.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the medical/surgical specialty.
• Neuro experience is required.
• Valid nursing license verified through Nursys.
• Must have current certification in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Experience using EPIC electronic medical records system.

Additional Information

This position requires weekend availability and does not offer block scheduling. Candidates will be expected to maintain a high level of professionalism and provide compassionate patient care.
