Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to assess and meet patients' respiratory care needs through various treatment modalities. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring an exceptional patient and family experience by optimizing all customer interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients' respiratory care requirements based on a variety of data.
- Plan, organize, and perform therapeutic procedures to address identified needs.
- Evaluate patient responses to treatments and modify care plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to enhance the overall patient care experience.
- Maintain accurate documentation regarding patient assessments and treatment outcomes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a respiratory therapy role.
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is mandatory.
- Current Pennsylvania state license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist.
Schedule
This position offers 36 hours per week, with a schedule that includes every other weekend and every other holiday. There is no call requirement for this role.
