Location: Miami, FL
Unit: Respiratory NICU/PICU
General Information
- Unit Staffing Description: The unit includes a Director, Manager, 1 Supervisor/Charge Therapist per shift, and regular staff.
- Type of Equipment: High Flow Devices, 3100A, Bunnell, Servo’s, continuous nebulizers, Nitric Oxide, Heliox, and regular nebulizers.
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Floating Policy: May provide coverage for regular adult floors for nebulizer therapy, BIPAP, CPT, etc.
Hiring Profile
Requested Skill Set
- Must Have:
- BLS
- NRP
- PALS
- 2 years of current acute care hospital RRT experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with previous Meditech experience will be given priority consideration.
- Advanced Skills Needed: Current NICU/PICU experience.
Responsibilities
Respiratory Therapists provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory diseases utilizing advanced technologies, medication delivery, and more.
