Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) in Med Surg plays an essential role in providing care to patients with a variety of medical conditions. This position involves comprehensive assessments, planning and implementing patient care, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes for patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Develop and update individualized care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Document patient information accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license valid in the state of Texas.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred; an associate degree (ADN) is acceptable.
• Experience in Med Surg or related nursing field is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
