• Number of Beds: 4 beds, 1 procedure room
• Staffing: 2 RNs, 1 IR tech
• Day Shift Staff: 2 RNs, 1 IR tech, 1 Radiologist

Job Description

Looking for a dedicated and skilled Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse to join our team. The RN will work collaboratively with medical staff to provide high-quality care in a specialized setting. Responsibilities include performing various procedures and assisting with patient management during interventional radiology procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer moderate sedation and monitoring patient vitals during procedures.
• Assist with procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, port placement, and perm catheter placement.
• Collaborate with the IR team to ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) for documentation and patient management.

Qualifications

• Required Skills: Moderate sedation experience. Certification can be obtained on-site if not current.
• Preferred Skills: Previous experience in Interventional Radiology is advantageous.

Work Schedule

This position is for the day shift, Monday through Thursday, without weekend or on-call requirements.

Dress Code

Gray scrubs will be required attire while on duty.
