Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Transplant Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This position plays a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients undergoing organ transplants.
Shift Details
This position requires availability for night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Start dates are available on Tuesdays.
Unit Information
The Transplant PCU specializes in the management of patients pre- and post-organ transplant, ensuring they receive the best possible nursing care.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- A minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a relevant specialty.
Responsibilities
- Assessing and monitoring patient conditions.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.
- Educating patients and their families about transplant processes and post-operative care.
