Job Summary
The CVOR Tech position is a critical role within the Cardio Operating Room. This position requires specialized expertise in cardiovascular procedures and technologies to support surgical teams in delivering exceptional patient care.
Job Details
- Unit Type: Cardio OR (Cardiovascular Operating Room)
- Shift Length: 10 hours
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Years of Experience Required: 2 years
- Required Certifications: BLS Certification, Crisis Protocol Approved
- Shift Notes: 4/10s schedule (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM), with call shifts and weekend responsibilities

Common Cases
- Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG)
- Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
- Minimally invasive and open valve replacements
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of cardiac experience
- Scrubbing required for RNs: No
Shifts & Scheduling
- Schedule: 4/10s (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM), with call and weekend requirements
- Weeknight/Call Requirement: Yes
- Weekend Requirement: Yes
- Holiday Requirement: Yes
- Call Response Time: 30 minutes
Additional Information
All team members are required to take call, and there is a mandatory standby requirement. Staff may float within the Main OR as necessary. The hospital provides scrubs for on-duty personnel.
Unit-specific orientation will be provided to ensure that all staff are well-prepared for their roles.
