Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our medical-surgical unit. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, ensuring the highest standards of nursing practices and patient safety.

Location

This position is located in Cost Center 613, within the city of City, State.

Shift Details

The Registered Nurse will work the night shift, with hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the medical team.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions and post-treatment care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and co-workers.
• Participate in ongoing education and professional development activities.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical nursing environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.
