Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing mammography procedures and ensuring patient safety and comfort while utilizing advanced imaging technology.

Schedule

This position requires availability for the day shift from Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct mammography examinations using Hologic mammography equipment.
• Assist in providing high-quality patient care by ensuring safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging reports in Epic EMR.
• Utilize Dexa technology as necessary and perform related tasks.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology: Required
• Experience as a Mammography Technologist: Preferred
• Licenses/Certifications:
  • Radiologic Tech (RT) and Mammography Technologist: Required in CA
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Radiography (ARRT-R): Required
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Mammography (ARRT-M): Required in OR; Preferred in CA and HI
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
  • Fluoroscopy license: Preferred in CA
  • Venipuncture certification: Preferred in CA
  • Mammographic Radiologic Technology (MRT): Required
