Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on the night shift. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive care for patients in an intensive care unit (ICU) environment, with occasional responsibilities in medical-surgical overflow areas.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the ICU.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.

Qualifications

• Valid RN licensure.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with a focus on ICU settings.
• Experience with a 10-bed ICU unit and familiarity with medical-surgical overflow environments.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record systems, specifically MedHost/Clinician.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

Work Environment

This position involves working night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. The selected candidate must be prepared to start immediately and will be required to wear scrubs of any solid color.

Location

This position is located in a city with multiple healthcare facilities and requires candidates to reside more than 50 miles from the work location.
