Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care in a medical/surgical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to medical/surgical patients.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, documenting any changes.
- Educate patients and their families about care plans and health management.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical/Surgical specialty.
- Current and valid nursing license (Nursys License Verification required).
- ACLS and BLS Certification Card.
- Proficiency in EPIC or similar electronic health record systems.
- Ability to provide references and complete a skills checklist.
- Work history/resume with no gaps greater than 60 days.
Common Diagnoses
The patient population may include those with general medical/surgical conditions and overflow oncology cases.
