Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with expertise in Impella and Balloon Pump to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position will primarily involve day shifts, offering a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment critical to patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
• Prior experience in an acute care facility is preferred.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Certifications:
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per policy is required.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will deliver high-quality patient care, utilizing specialized knowledge in cardiac support devices, and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring patient conditions and administering medication as prescribed.
• Assisting with procedures and providing support during critical care situations.
• Educating patients and their families about medical conditions and post-care procedures.
• Documenting all aspects of patient care accurately and promptly.
• Participating in continuing education and professional development activities.
