Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to provide high-quality imaging services for outpatient care. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both screening and diagnostic mammography, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures.
• Operate and maintain mammography equipment, ensuring proper functionality.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality control measures.
• Provide exceptional patient care and clear communication regarding procedures and results.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical record system (EPIC).

Requirements

• ARRT (Mammo) Certification.
• Valid Washington State Radiologic Technologist License.
• Two years of experience in mammography preferred.
• Knowledge of diagnostic procedures, with bone densitometry experience preferred but not required.

Work Schedule

• 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
• Primarily scheduled Thursdays off, though this may be subject to change.
• No weekend rotations or holiday expectations.
• No call responsibilities.

Department Support

You will have the support of a Receptionist/Registration Specialist to assist with patient coordination and administrative tasks.

Technology and Equipment

• Electronic Medical Records: EPIC
• PACS: Change Healthcare PACS (McKesson)
• Mammography System: GE Mammography System

Additional Information

As part of our program, approved travel candidates may be allowed up to 7 days of requested time off (RTO) if they agree to extend their contract accordingly.
