Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology Technologist

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology Technologist to join a dynamic cardiovascular and interventional radiology program. This role supports both diagnostic and interventional procedures, emphasizing patient safety, technical excellence, and effective teamwork.

Cath Lab Procedures Include

• Left and right heart catheterizations
• Pacemaker insertions
• Intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP)
• Impella device placement and support

Interventional Radiology Procedures Include

• GI bleed embolizations
• Pulmonary embolism thrombectomies
• Kyphoplasties
• Drain placements
• Port placements
• Additional interventional radiology procedures as required

Responsibilities

• Scrub, circulate, and monitor during Cath Lab and interventional radiology procedures.
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields.
• Operate imaging equipment and ancillary devices.
• Assist physicians with device preparation, placement, and troubleshooting.
• Respond to emergent cases while on call.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety and infection control standards.
• Provide high-quality patient care before, during, and after procedures.

Work Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 0700–1530
• On-call required: 12 days per month, including weekends and holidays
