Description
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated X-ray Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary qualifications, licensure, and skills to provide high-quality radiologic services in a dynamic healthcare environment. Flexibility and adaptability are essential as scheduling will be based on departmental needs.
Work Schedule
- Monday, Tuesday, and Friday with varying day and evening shifts.
- Expected to work 36 hours per week with the possibility of variable weekends.
- Holiday and extra call shifts will be scheduled as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of a program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) is required.
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited college or appropriate military training.
Experience
A minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care setting is required.
Licensure and Certification
- Currently registered as R.T.(R)(ARRT) or registry-eligible with R.T.(R)(ARRT) within 6 months of hire.
- Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Proficient with computer systems, including PACS and HIS/RIS.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Capable of maintaining confidentiality of information.
Location
Position available in various locations within the region, specifically in the city of Boston, MA.
