Location: Doctors Regional, City, State
Number of Beds: 12
Staffing Levels:
- Day Shift: 5-7 RNs, 1 ER Tech (11a-11p), 1 Unit Secretary (9a-5p M-F)
- Night Shift: 5-6 RNs, 1 ER Tech (11a-11p), 1 Unit Secretary (5p-1a M-F)
Patient Ratios: 4:1
Qualifications
Must have:
- BLS
- ACLS
- ENPC or PALS
- CPI
- TNCC
Preferred skills:
- Strong experience in Neuro and Cardiac care
- High energy and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Procedures Performed
- STEMI management
- Stroke/TPA administration
- Rapid Sequence Intubation (RSI)
Dress Code
Preferred scrub color: royal blue (not mandatory)
Prohibited attire: no competitor emblems
Awards and Recognition
- 12-minute door to needle time for TPA administration
- Fastest patient bed assignment time in the Gulf Coast Division
