Job Description
We are seeking experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurses (RNs) for travel assignments. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality patient care and will possess the necessary skills and qualifications required for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical environment.
- Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records using an electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
- Float between various units as required to meet patient care needs.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is required within 6 months of the start date.
- Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred.
Work Schedule
This role requires working night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Flexibility to float to different units is necessary to accommodate staffing needs.
Location
This position is available in Durant, OK. Travel opportunities may include various locations within the region.
