Description
We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in catheterization and electrophysiology procedures, showcasing the ability to provide exceptional care in a fast-paced environment.

- Unit Name: Cath Lab
- Cost Center: 746/76200
- Number of Procedure Rooms: 11 (5 Cath, 4 EP, 2 Hybrid OR)
- Patient Ratios: 1 patient to 3 staff
- Type of Equipment: GE and Philips x-ray systems, Volcano IVUS/FFR, Merge Hemo
- Documentation System: Merge Hemo and Meditech
Scheduling Requirements
Flexible scheduling with four 10-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Candidates should be prepared for on-call responsibilities as needed.
Responsibilities
- Scrub and monitor during cath lab and electrophysiology procedures.
- Assist in the preparation and recovery of patients.
- Operate advanced cardiac equipment and systems effectively.
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and patient safety standards.
Qualifications
- Required Certifications:
- RCIS, RCES, or RT(R)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Cath Lab or EP Lab procedures.
- Proficient in monitoring and circulating during cath lab and/or EP procedures.
- Demonstrated advanced skills and experience with complex procedures, including diagnostic angiograms, PCI, and device implants.
