Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (RN)

Position Overview

The Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit will be part of the Float Pool, providing critical care across all designated units, including critical care floors, the Emergency Room (ER) and ER hold, as well as step-down, Medically-Trauma Care (MTC), and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) for patient holds as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality patient care to all critical care patients.
  • Float to various critical care areas as needed to support staffing requirements.
  • Monitor patient conditions and implement appropriate interventions.
  • Document patient care and treatment accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an intensive care or critical care environment.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
  • Experience with EPIC electronic medical records (EMR) is preferred.
  • Availability for minimal Requested Time Off (RTO).
