Description
Shift Information
This position requires night shifts from 1830 to 0700, with 12-hour shifts scheduled for a total of 36 hours per week. There is flexibility available to pick up extra shifts as needed.
Contract Duration
The role is a 13-week contract position.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Emergency Department nurse.
- Current Washington State nursing license or multi-state license.
- Completion of a 6-hour suicide prevention training course.
- Verification of nursing demographics through Nursys.
- Current certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
Job Responsibilities
The nurse will provide patient-centered care in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment. Collaboration with a diverse team is essential to ensure high-quality care and effective communication.
Additional Information
Knowledge of Meditech is helpful, but not required. Request Time Off (RTO) must be pre-approved and recorded at the end of the contract, ensuring full availability for scheduling.
Location
Position is located in close proximity to the Pacific Northwest beaches and the Olympic National Forest, providing a scenic and vibrant environment for both work and leisure.

Holiday coverage is required for this position.
