Description
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join our team. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in the cardiac catheterization lab, including assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Job Details
- Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab
- Shift: 4x10s, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with rotating day off
- Shift Length: 10 hours
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Assist in cardiac catheterization procedures under the direction of physician staff.
- Operate various medical equipment related to the cardiac cath lab.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Participate in on-call rotations, including weekends, approximately 10-12 days per month.
- During downtime, assist other units, such as the Emergency Department and medical-surgical floors, as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in cardiac cath lab or related field.
- Required Certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support) from the American Heart Association.
