Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic operating room team. The ideal candidate will possess scrub experience and a strong background in various surgical services.

Facility Overview

This facility is recognized as a leader in healthcare services, offering cutting-edge care in cardiology, oncology, neurology, orthopedics, and more. It is the only Atrial Fibrillation Certified hospital in the area and an accredited center for chest pain and breast imaging. With an all-private room acute care hospital, a mental health facility, and a comprehensive rehabilitation hospital, we provide a supportive environment for both staff and patients.

Unit Profile

Number of OR Suites: 12
Patient Ratios: 1:1
Staffing Description: Includes circulators, surgical techs, and orderlies.
Type of Equipment: A comprehensive range of tools commonly used in an operating room.
Documentation System: Meditech
Scheduling Requirements: On-call duties required during weekdays and weekends.
Patient Experience Standards: Must demonstrate a patient-focused and friendly approach.

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of OR circulating experience in diverse surgical specialties, excluding transplants, hearts, and eyes.
Advanced Skills: None required.
Procedures Performed: Ortho, GYN, general, vascular, neuro, ENT, and robotic surgeries for adults and pediatrics.
Certifications: None required for this role.
