Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our dynamic team at a multi-campus facility based in Ocala, FL. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
Unit Profile
- Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab
- Number of Labs: 3
- Patient Ratios: 3:1
- Staffing Description: Includes unit secretaries and tech availability
- Equipment: GE lab, Impella, Balloon pump, Penumbra, IVUS
- Documentation System: Merge Hemo documentation
- Floating Policy: Possible coverage for nearby locations
Responsibilities
- Conduct right and left heart catheterizations, both diagnostic and interventional
- Perform peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Maintain high standards of patient care and safety in the Cath Lab
- Collaborate with medical staff to provide optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in the Cath Lab
- Required Certifications: RCIS and ACLS/BLS
- Advanced Skills: Experience in electrophysiology is preferred
Work Schedule
This position requires the ability to work 4 ten-hour shifts on weekdays with call responsibilities on rotating days.
