Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care for patients in a medical-surgical, telemetry, and neuro unit setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and a commitment to excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care to ICU patients with medical-surgical and telemetry needs.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, implementing care plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Float to other medical-surgical and telemetry units as required.
• Provide support during inpatient admissions.
• Participate in scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Med/Surg/Tele/Neuro nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• Proficiency in EKG interpretation, demonstrated by passing an EKG test.

Contract Details

This position is contracted for a duration of 10-14 weeks, with a work schedule of 12-hour day shifts. There is a requirement to work every other weekend and holidays as needed.
