Job Description

An opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and Neurology care. This role will involve providing high-quality care to inpatient admissions in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Float to other Medical/Surgical and Telemetry units as required.
• Participate in patient and family education regarding treatments and care plans.

Schedule Details

This position requires working 12-hour shifts on a schedule that includes every Monday, with weekend shifts every other week and holiday shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois nursing license.
• BLS certification.
• NIHSS certification.
• Passing EKG Test.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, or Neurology nursing.
• New graduates will not be considered for this position.

Additional Information

Non-billable orientation time is required. All documentation and credentials must be submitted by the Thursday prior to the start date.
