Position Summary

Under the guidance of the Director of Physical Therapy, the Physical Therapist is accountable for directing physical therapy services. Responsibilities include coordinating and supervising department operations, administering prescribed physical agents, and leading performance improvement activities in compliance with regulatory laws and standards. The role also involves budget management and ensuring accurate and timely patient charge entries.

Position Qualifications

  • Three or more years of previous experience in physical therapy preferred.
  • Current licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist in California.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of physical therapy modalities, anatomy, and physiology.
  • Understanding of disease processes and their causative factors.
  • Adept in the benefits and values of rehabilitative medicine and physical therapy agents.
  • Knowledge of infection control, sterile techniques, and their impact on practice.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across all organizational levels.
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrates teamwork and confidentiality regarding sensitive data.
