Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty and be passionate about providing high-quality care to expectant mothers and their families.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in labor and delivery.
• Monitor and assess maternal and fetal well-being during labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families about pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care.
• Assist with the management of pregnancy complications such as preeclampsia, diabetes, and preterm labor.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Current AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
• AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) certification preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule Requirements

Candidates must be available to work from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Additionally, the role requires working 2 major holidays out of the following: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day, as well as 1 minor holiday such as the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.

This position is located in a city within the state that supports multiple healthcare facilities.
