Description
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This role requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality care for our most vulnerable patients, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to neonates in the NICU, monitoring vital signs and patient conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and safety.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate and support families regarding their infants' health conditions and care strategies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities and outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to established protocols and standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a neonatal intensive care setting is required.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
Schedule
Varied schedule with night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM.
Holiday Commitment
Candidates must be available to work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (The Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve).
