Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Special Procedures team. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing care in a radiology setting, primarily focusing on administering IV sedation to patients. The candidate must have recent experience in a relevant specialty, such as ICU, ER, or PACU.
Schedule
This position is full-time, with shifts scheduled from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide IV sedation and monitor patients during special procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care.
- Perform assessments and adjust care plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a relevant nursing specialty.
- Must hold current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Previous experience in radiology nursing is preferred, but candidates with ICU, ER, or PACU training will also be considered.
Holiday Requirements
The Registered Nurse will be expected to work 2 major holidays from the following: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day, as well as 1 minor holiday: the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.
