Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for a Medical/Surgical unit. This role involves providing essential nursing care to adult patients, primarily focusing on post-surgical care.
Unit Details
- Common Patient Diagnoses:
- Post-surgical care
- Abdominal pain
- Cholelithiasis
- Osteoarthritis
- Fractures
- Back pain
- Morbid obesity (bariatric surgery)
- Specialty Equipment: Includes IV pumps, N/G tubes, and feeding tubes.
- Patient Demographics: Adults.
Additional Information
Shift: 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM (Block scheduling is not guaranteed).
Floating: Required.
Scrub Color: Navy Blue.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Medical/Surgical nursing.
- Current AHA BLS certification.
- Active NY nursing license and verification of all active RN licenses.
- Experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC.
- Travel experience is mandatory.
