Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join the Operating Room team. The candidate will be responsible for providing excellent patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment, specializing in Neuro and Orthopedic procedures.

Schedule

The position requires flexibility, with a schedule from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM on varying days. Call duties will be required as part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room.
• Assist with Neuro and Orthopedic surgeries, demonstrating expertise in these specialties.
• Ensure a sterile environment and adhere to all safety protocols.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in on-call rotation as necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Operating Room nursing, specifically in Neuro and Orthopedic specialties.
• Current certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Familiarity with CERNER and robotic surgical systems is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and adapt to changing situations.

Holiday Requirements

The position requires the candidate to work two major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve).
