Description
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position requires expertise in handling Impella and Balloon Pump technology, as well as experience with EPIC systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients requiring advanced cardiac support.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions.
- Utilize Impella and Balloon Pump technologies effectively and safely.
- Document patient care accurately in the EPIC system.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Adhere to established protocols and guidelines to ensure the highest standards of care.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- Experience in an acute care facility is highly preferred.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required.
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification is required.
Work Schedule
This position involves a night shift schedule, with the opportunity to work a combination of 36 or 48 hours per week.
