Department Description
The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) provides direct care and manages the treatment of acutely ill patients who are moderately stable but at an increased risk for instability. The PCU team delivers care supported by advanced knowledge and expertise in an environment equipped for advanced monitoring, assessments, and interventions.
Experience/Education/Qualifications
- Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission.
- Healthcare Provider Level BLS required.
- AHA ACLS and NIHSS certifications required.
- Preferred experience in PCU and basic EKG.
- Verification of high school diploma or equivalent is required due to CAP requirements for moderate complexity testing.
Holiday Coverage
Holiday coverage is required.
