Shift Information
Days (0700-1930), every other weekend required.
Minimum Years of Experience
1 year of experience required.
Certifications/Requirements
- General Certifications: BLS/BCLS, ACLS
- Nursing Certification: NIHSS
Department Description
The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) provides direct care and influences the care for acutely ill patients who are moderately stable but at an elevated risk for instability. Our unit offers advanced monitoring, assessments, and interventions, supported by staff with extensive knowledge and experience.
Experience/Education/Qualifications
- Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission.
- Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification is required.
- AHA ACLS and NIHSS certifications are required.
- PCU and basic EKG experience are preferred.
- Verification of high school diploma or equivalent is required due to College of American Pathologists (CAP) requirements for moderate complexity testing.
Holiday Coverage
Holiday coverage is required.
