Description

Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN)

Shift Information

Evenings: 2 PM - 2 AM

Schedule: 36 hours/week

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) for the evening shift. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency nursing, providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
  • Recent experience in an acute care hospital setting within the last 5 years

Licensure and Certifications

  • Active Oregon RN State License is required
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification or completion within 6 months of hire
  • AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification or completion within 1 year of hire
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification or completion within 1 year of hire
  • Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) or equivalent preferred

Additional Requirements

Completion of organization-approved workplace violence training is required by the last day of the month following a 90-day grace period.

Holiday coverage is not required for this position.
