Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team. The main campus Emergency Department is a Level III Trauma Center equipped with 38 beds and 2 trauma bays, consistently ranking among the top 10 busiest emergency departments in Ohio.

Shift Information

• Day Shift: 7 AM - 7:30 PM
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday rotation required

Responsibilities

The Emergency Department RN will be responsible for:

• Providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhering to hospital policies and procedures while ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.
• Maintaining accurate documentation using Epic EMR.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of current/recent Emergency Department nursing experience.
• Completion of at least 3 Emergency Department assignments preferred.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required.
• TNCC and ENPC certifications are strongly preferred, but not required.
• Proficiency with Epic EMR is mandatory.

Additional Information

Holiday coverage is required, and requests for excessive time off around holidays will not be accommodated. Taking call is not expected and should be a rare request.
