Description
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a 13-week contract. This position is essential in providing high-quality care to critically ill patients in an intensive care unit setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, recording vital signs and other relevant data.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
- Utilize advanced technology and equipment related to critical care.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and protocols.
Qualifications
- Current nursing license in the state of practice.
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience preferred.
Shift Details
- Night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, including rotating weekends.
Location
Applicants must reside more than 50 miles from the facility located in the River Region.
