Description
Job Overview
A Mammography Technologist is responsible for performing mammography procedures and ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety. This role requires expertise in radiologic technology and a focus on patient comfort and imaging accuracy.
Work Schedule
The position is a day shift role, from Monday to Friday, with hours from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities
- Perform mammography imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and standards.
- Provide exceptional patient care, including explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort throughout the process.
- Maintain imaging equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition and appropriately calibrated.
- Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines to protect patients and staff.
- Work collaboratively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology is required.
- Experience as a Mammography Technologist is preferred.
- Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiologic Technologist License is required in Oregon.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Radiography (ARRT-R) certification is required.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Mammography (ARRT-M) certification is preferred in Oregon.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
