Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our MedSurg / Telemetry team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, while ensuring adherence to the standards of practice and promoting patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and ensure the safety and comfort of patients.
• Monitor vital signs and assess patient condition, reporting changes as necessary.
• Perform assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and health management strategies.
• Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic health record.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Previous experience in MedSurg or Telemetry nursing is preferred but not required.
