Description
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in an acute care setting. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to patients in the Emergency Department Observation unit, which specializes in telemetry and medical/surgical care.
Unit Information
- Unit Type: Telemetry
- Number of Beds: 8-16
- Patient Load: 8-16 patients per day
- Staff Ratios: 4:1
- Typical Patient Diagnoses: Medical/Surgical Telemetry
Shift Details
- Shift Length: 12 hours
- Shift Times: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Float Requirements: May be required to float to similar units within the region
- Standby Requirement: Yes
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in a telemetry or medical/surgical setting
- Current BLS Certification
- Active WA nursing license

- Orientation: 1-day unit-specific orientation will be provided
- Security: In-house security is available
- EMR System: Epic
- Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs
- Boarding Patients: This unit manages patients awaiting a room in the hospital
