Position Overview

This is a contract position for a Registered Nurse in the Med/Surg unit, specifically on the 2nd North floor. The nurse will engage in a variety of patient care activities and must be prepared to adapt to the dynamic environment of the unit.

• Staff Composition: 3 RNs, 1 Patient Care Technician (PCT), 1 Free Float Charge Nurse
• Patient Ratios: 1:5
• Type of Equipment: Alaris Pump
• EMR System: Meditech

Shift Details

• Shift: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Weekends: Rotating

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• BLS Certification
• NIHSS Certification

Preferred Skills:

• ACLS Certification
• Rhythm Interpretation

Typical Procedures Performed

• Bronchoscopy
• EGD/Colonoscopy
