Unit Information
Join our Neuro Critical Care Unit (Neuro CCU/ICU) at our facility with a capacity of 18 beds and a dedicated staff of 45 professionals.
- Patient Ratios: 1 RN to 2 Patients (estimated)
- Type of Staff:
- Day Shift: 1 Charge RN, 9 RNs, 1 PCT
- Night Shift: 1 Charge RN, 9 RNs, 1 PCT
- Type of Equipment: Cardiac Monitoring, Ventilators, IV Pumps, Tube Feed Pumps, EVDs/LDs/Bolds, Continuous EEG, Lumbar Drain, Arctic Sun, Licox
- EMR: Meditech
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated ICU Registered Nurse to join our team in the Neuro ICU. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing, particularly with neuro patients.
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum of one year of current ICU experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Preferred:
- Experience with neuro patient populations
Typical Procedures
Our unit performs various critical procedures, including:
- Intubations
- Central Line Placement
- EVD/LD Placement
- Licox Catheter Placement
