Location: Englewood, CO
Unit Type: ICU/CCU
Number of Beds: 16
Staffing: 60 staff members
- Day Shift: 1 Charge RN, 8 RNs, 1 Patient Care Technician (PCT) for census >14 (12-hour shifts from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM)
- Night Shift: 1 Charge RN, 8 RNs, 1 PCT for census >14 (12-hour shifts from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM)
Patient Ratios: 1 RN to 2 Patients
Equipment Used: Cardiac Monitoring, Ventilators, IV Pumps, Tube Feed Pumps
Electronic Medical Records: Meditech
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of current ICU hospital experience
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with medical ICU and neuro patient populations
- Prior experience with Meditech system
Typical Procedures
Common procedures performed on the unit include:
- Intubations
- Central line placements
