Position Overview
This position is for a Travel Registered Nurse specializing in the Neuro ICU. The role involves providing high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients with neurological conditions.
Unit Information
The Neuro ICU consists of 18 beds and is staffed by a dedicated team of 45 professionals. The typical staff configuration includes a combination of Charge RNs and RNs on both day and night shifts, ensuring comprehensive patient care.
Patient Ratios
- 1 RN to 2 Patients (estimated ratios, not guaranteed)

Qualifications
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of current ICU experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- NIHSS certification
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with the neuro patient population
Typical Procedures
- Intubations
- Central line placement
- EVD/LD placement
- Licox catheter placement
