Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess experience and skills necessary to provide high-quality care in an acute care facility. This position is available for day shifts with opportunities for both 36 and 48-hour weekly schedules.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
• Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain accurate medical records.
• Monitor, record, and report changes in patients' conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
• Experience in an acute care facility is preferred.

Licenses/Certifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification is required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale certification is required.

Schedule

This position requires availability for day shifts and may include weekends and holidays. Please note that holiday requests for time off will not be approved.
