Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The unit consists of 30 beds and cares for a diverse patient population with complex medical needs, including but not limited to sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), chronic kidney disease, type 2 diabetes (TDM2), and substance abuse disorders.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ICU environment.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions continually and accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Operate and manage advanced medical equipment, including ventilators and other therapeutic devices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and ongoing care requirements.
• Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Intensive Care Unit or similar setting.
• Current certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Proficiency in managing patients requiring mechanical ventilation and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
